Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Site Lead Physician to provide clinical and operational leadership for the Brighton or South adult Primary Care practices within BMCHS. This role supports growth, ensures high-quality, patient-centered care, and leads sites from the ground up with a focus on provider engagement and efficiency.

Candidates should have at least five years of adult primary care experience and board certification in internal medicine or family medicine, reporting to the Chief

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience practicing adult primary care.
• Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead physician for the primary care site, modeling best practices in patient care and professionalism.
• Promote evidence-based clinical standards, quality improvement, patient engagement and safety.
• Act as the clinical liaison between the site and system-level physician leadership.
• Lead recruitment and retention of clinicians to build and maintain the clinical team.
• Partner with practice administration on operational planning and performance metrics.
