Job summary

Saint Luke's is hiring a Scheduler for our Primary Care Clinic in Lee's Summit, MO. This role schedules acute patient visits and supports front desk operations. Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with no nights or weekends.

Candidates should have strong customer service and computer skills; scheduling experience is preferred. The scheduler will handle phone calls, message communication via Epic, verify insurance, collect copays, and may float between locations while maintaining patient

• Previous scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules acute patient office visits for Primary Care patients.
• Answers telephone and communicates messages through Epic, greets and registers patients, and schedules appointments.
• Verifies insurance and other patient data for accuracy; collects patient copayments.
• Provides backup for other positions in the medical office and may float between locations.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional appearance and conduct.
