About the role:

We partner with top-rated hospital systems to expand access to primary care in communities facing barriers to in-person care. We are seeking full-time Primary Care Physicians who will deliver remote, video-based, comprehensive clinical care, including preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management. The ideal candidate must be licensed in CA, board certified in Family or Internal Medicine, and comfortable practicing pediatrics and mental health as part of the full primary care spectrum. Work from home and provide care to those in need, supported by K Health’s Clinical AI Platform. Our virtual clinic operates 24/7 with a dedicated Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support team to reduce administrative burden.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide high-quality preventive, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote, virtual setting
• Deliver compassionate and meaningful patient encounters to elevate remote care
• Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their primary care physician
• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically indicated
• Engage in population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (e.g., AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture)
• Support patients post-discharge to improve understanding of treatment plans and reduce readmissions
• Continuously evaluate adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices

What we’re looking for:

• Board-Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
• 3+ years of post-residency work experience
• At least 2+ years of in-person primary care experience
• Experience with virtual visits required
• Active CA state medical license (IME/ICL preferred)
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Currently enrolled or eligible for enrollment as a Medicare provider
• Clean background and medical malpractice history
• Willing to commit 40 hours per week (36 clinical hours)
• Available to work Monday and Friday with flexible start times (e.g., 7:00 am – 12:30 pm PST)
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
• Strong interest in developing longitudinal patient relationships and managing chronic conditions
• Comfort with managing acute conditions virtually
• Experience handling 3+ cases per hour
• Eagerness to learn and implement cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and care delivery

Compensation:

$240,000 - $250,000 USD

We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise.
