Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Primary Care Staff Physician at the Ocala VA Outpatient Clinic to deliver comprehensive medical care to a dedicated panel of Veterans.

You will conduct thorough physical examinations, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a VA setting that supports education debt reduction and professional development.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or equivalent per VA policy.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S. or territory.
• Completion of residency in an accredited core specialty.
• Board-eligible or board-certified preferred for Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to a Veteran patient panel.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments.
• Document care and orders in the CPRS and coordinate follow-up.
• Triage outpatient needs and manage referrals to specialists.
