Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from an approved school.
• Current, full, unrestricted physician license in the United States (State/Territory/DC).
• Residency in an ACGME/AOA accredited program or equivalent leading to board eligibility.
• Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferred: 2+ years of outpatient Primary Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnostic work-up, and clinic intervention for Veterans in the Primary Care team setting.
• Collaborate with health care professionals to achieve patient and medical center goals within the PACT model.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, initiate treatments or referrals, and manage medications.
• Follow performance measures and clinical reminders, ensuring access and timeliness standards.
• Demonstrate professional ethics and maintain a harmonious, customer-oriented work environment.
