Job summary

Hampton Roads Community Health Center is seeking physicians to join its medical team in southeastern Virginia. The role focuses on delivering primary medical care, coordinating with a team of professionals, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

The position reports to the Chief Medical Officer and requires MD/DO, residency completion, Virginia license, and board certification. A one-time sign-on bonus of $5,000–$10,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with board certification in their field.
• Completion of an approved residency program and Virginia medical license.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements is essential.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care by developing care plans, including history, exam, and treatment.
• Coordinate with consulting physicians, nurses, and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to performance improvement plans and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Perform administrative duties and ensure charting and confidentiality compliance.
• Other duties as assigned by the medical leadership.
