Job summary

TDH seeks a physician to provide accessible primary care and women's health services across the West region, focusing on uninsured populations who rely on local health departments as their primary source of care. You will deliver direct patient services, offer clinical oversight for advanced practice nurses, and support county and regional operations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Valid Tennessee medical license (unrestricted).
• Valid DEA license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, delivers, and manages comprehensive health services for adults and children across various levels of care.
• Precepts and collaborates with mid-level clinical providers.
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion to enhance patient compliance with care plan.
• Remains updated with best practices in medicine and provides patient-centered care.
