Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Physician for an outpatient family or internal medicine practice. Base salary range is $265,000–$280,000 with productivity-based incentive bonus potential.

Requirements include an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, US residency, Virginia license, DEA registration, and BLS certification. EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Successful completion of an accredited US residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted Virginia medical license or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for patients across the age spectrum, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common medical conditions in family or internal medicine.
• Perform age- and condition-appropriate history and physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and screening tests as clinically indicated.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies in accordance with laws and policies.
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitalists, care management teams, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR; EPIC experience preferred.
• Participate in meetings and quality initiatives and support organizational goals.
