Job summary

Optum Care Nevada is seeking a Family Practice/Internal Medicine physician to join our Las Vegas team. You will manage your own adult patient panel in a collaborative, EMR-enabled environment across our Las Vegas clinic locations.

The role emphasizes autonomy within an employed, multi-site practice with strong support, a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits and comprehensive benefits. Nevada licensure and relevant certifications are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained, board certified or board eligible; ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license.
• Strong clinical knowledge across biomedical sciences and patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with patients and health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel in a team-based setting, Monday through Friday.
• Care for an adult patient population including geriatrics and some adolescents.
• Work in an EMR-enabled environment with access to digital radiology and onsite lab services.
• Participate in a systems-based practice aligned with organizational values and rewards.
