Job summary

Optum NV in Las Vegas seeks a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as an employed physician. You will manage your own adult patient panel, work Monday through Friday, and benefit from a robust support system within OptumCare's network.

Qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible; ability to obtain Nevada license and DEA/Pharmacy license
• Strong medical knowledge across biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social-behavioral sciences
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coordination with patients and health professionals
• Proficient computer skills to utilize Electronic Medical Records in practice
• Commitment to practice-based learning and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Manage your own panel of adult patients Monday–Friday
• Collaborate with other physicians in teams within the Southwest Medical/Optum network
• Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective care and promote health within a systems-based practice
