Job summary

UPMC Primary Care is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join Hickory Internal Medicine, a single-site outpatient practice located at the UPMC Hermitage Outpatient Center. Clinical time comprises 36 hours of patient-facing care Monday through Friday, with 4 hours of administrative time per week.

There is a light call schedule taken from home and no inpatient call. The team provides easy referrals to social work, behavioral health, nutritionists, and a broad network of UPMC specialists,

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited program.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible for new graduates.
• Unrestricted PA medical license or ability to obtain.
• DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient, single-site practice with Monday–Friday schedule.
• 36 hours of patient-facing time weekly; 4 hours admin time.
• Light call from home; no inpatient call required.
• Collaborate with behavioral health, nutritionists, social work, and specialists.
