Job summary

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. is seeking a Primary Care Physician in the Medical Administration department to provide comprehensive primary care under the Chief Medical Officer.

The role requires staying current with medical standards, delivering patient-centered care, and working within policies. It includes on-call duties and collaboration with the care team; a valid MD or DO and residency in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics are required.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN or Pediatrics.
• Board Certification or board eligibility required.
• Current DEA license; ACLS/PALS/BLS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Secures and evaluates a patient's health history and records findings in a systematic, accurate and succinct manner.
• Performs a physical assessment and distinguishes between normal and abnormal findings.
• Provides routine physical examinations, diagnostic services and treatment of illnesses and emergencies.
• Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
• Assures quality of care for all patients.
• Shares on-call duties with other medical staff.
• Maintains HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
