Job summary

HonorHealth in Mesa, AZ seeks a Physician to provide direct patient care in a team-based primary care setting. You will deliver care following evidence-based guidelines and collaborate with patients and families to engage them in decisions about their health.

Board-certified or eligible physicians with an MD/DO, Arizona licensure, and BLS certification are required. You will document encounters promptly, review test results, and participate in care protocols and training while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board eligible or certified.
• Licensed in Arizona or eligible via state license compact.
• Commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Spends scheduled time in the clinic providing compassionate patient care.
• Completes documentation of patient encounters as per guidelines.
• Returns patient calls in a timely manner.
• Reviews patient medical records, tests and study results to make recommendations for treatment options.
• Provides state of the art care utilizing latest medical service.
• Follows evidence based treatment guidelines.
• Completes medical records in a timely fashion.
• Develops care protocols necessary to allow basic assessment of health and initiation of appropriate care.
• Acts as a resource for workers' compensation, disability management and other groups.
