Job summary

Mercer University’s Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Care in Macon, GA seeks a physician to lead family or internal medicine services within the IDD program. The role focuses on delivering high-quality outpatient care while supporting interdisciplinary education and clinical collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO, is board certified in Family or Internal Medicine, and is licensed in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and be licensed to practice medicine in Georgia.
• Demonstrate strong experience in interdisciplinary healthcare education and clinical settings.
• Ideal candidate will have experience in health-related clinical areas and both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maintaining a financially viable clinical practice at the Center for IDD Care Mercer Medicine clinic in Macon, GA.
