Housing Works in New York seeks an attending physician to provide medical care in a Federally Qualified Health Center with a homeless program. You will report to Medical Director and supervise a Nurse care coordinator while delivering HIV/AIDS-focused primary care to adults.

The role requires NY medical licensure and experience in primary care with HIV/AIDS; salary ranges from $200,000 to $220,000 annually based on experience. Vaccination policy applies.

Competenze

• Has current New York State Medical licensure.
• Experience in Primary Care and clinical management of persons with HIV/AIDS is preferred.
• Certified and/or demonstrated expertise and experience in HIV/AIDS medicine.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Performs complete history and physical examinations per standards and policies.
• Provides primary medical care to adults and manages acute and chronic conditions.
• Assesses patient conditions and prescribes appropriate interventions.
• Documents in the EHR and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Collaborates with other health care providers to plan interventions.
• Orders subspecialty consultations and coordinates hospital transfers.
• Provides emergency medical care as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and quality maintenance programs.
