A major municipal healthcare provider is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to manage HIV patients and provide primary care. The ideal candidate will have an active NYS medical license and board certification in a relevant field. This position offers a competitive salary of $242,000 to $247,000 basis for a full-time role, dedicated to the highest quality care within a supportive community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NYS medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
• Completed HIV fellowship or specialized training in HIV care; meets state HIV Specialist designation.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HIV clinical care.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

Responsabilités

• Manage HIV patients and provide primary care.
• Manage patients with Hepatitis B and C.
• Provide inpatient consultation for the Infectious Disease Service.
• Supervise assigned Residents/Fellows, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.

Experience in HIV clinical care

Leadership capabilities

Ability to manage chronic viral infections

Formation

Active NYS medical license

Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases
