Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine and Residency Program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Current valid medical license.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems.

Responsabilités

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to assess condition.
• Analyze results and diagnose conditions.
• Prescribe medications per guidelines and patient needs.
• Promote health through counseling on diet, hygiene and prevention.

• Participate in peer review and clinical meetings.

Physician will generally have a focus on either internal medicine or family medicine.This role is an employment model position in Longwood Specialty Physicians (LSP).The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required of this position.Primary Responsibilities:Obtain health history and perform physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment.Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on a patient’s condition.Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition of patient.Accurately diagnose and treat a wide-range of acute and chronic diseases and injuriesAdminister or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate to a patient’s diagnosis.Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal statutes and professional practice guidelines.Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures.Counsel patient and, if appropriate, family on diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure understanding and follow-through.Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.Make referrals to specialists when appropriate for a patient's condition and treatment.Support BIDHC culture and promote team-based delivery of patient care.REQUIREMENTSGraduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine and Residency ProgramQualified candidates should be board-certified/board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.Must possess a valid medical licenseDemonstrated ability to use medical record systems to thoroughly and properly document patient visits.Join Longwood Specialty Physicians (LSP), a network of practitioners committed to providing community care close to home and delivering world-class medical expertise in the communities it serves. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
