Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (HMFP) seeks a Family Medicine physician to provide comprehensive primary care to BIDHC/BILH patients in Dedham/Westwood.

You will perform history and physicals, manage preventive care, and coordinate care within a Harvard-affiliated, team-based setting. The role is full-time with a base pay range of $250,000 to $290,000, plus incentives and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability

Physician will generally have a focus on family medicine.This role is an employment model position in the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (HMFP). A Harvard Medical School appointment at the Lecturer or Instructor level may be applied for commensurate with academic qualifications.The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required of this position.Primary Responsibilities:Obtain health history and perform physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment.Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on a patient’s condition.Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition of patient.Accurately diagnose and treat a wide-range of acute and chronic diseases and injuriesAdminister or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate to a patient’s diagnosis.Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal statutes and professional practice guidelines.Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures.Counsel patient and, if appropriate, family on diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure understanding and follow-through.Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.Make referrals to specialists when appropriate for a patient's condition and treatment.Support BIDHC culture and promote team-based delivery of patient care.Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) is one of the largest physician organizations in New England, dedicated to excellence and innovation in patient care, education, and research. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
