The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, is seeking candidates for an outpatient primary care physician position at Jefferson Family Medicine Associates (JFMA). JFMA is the flagship academic training site of Jefferson's Department of Family and Community Medicine, serving a diverse patient population of approximately 30,000 with a commitment to excellence and equity across all aspects of family medicine.
Our care teams include 27 faculty physicians, 4 nurse practitioners, 30 residents, 3 fellows, and 45 staff members, supporting interprofessional, patient-centered care. The team also includes behavioral health consultants, social workers, nurse care managers, and population health support teams. Clinical services encompass adult and children's primary care, prenatal and reproductive health, colposcopy, opioid use disorder treatment, gender-affirming care, procedure clinics, and obesity management.
Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, and obtain or hold a PA medical license. Compensation and academic appointment depend on experience.
