Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a staff physician at the Reno VA Medical Center to provide comprehensive primary care to veterans in a busy ambulatory setting.

You will manage a diverse panel, coordinate referrals, and participate in preventive care and patient education. The role requires board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, a current US license, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Board certification or eligibility in primary care specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of veterans.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
• Refer to specialty clinics and coordinate care as needed.
• Participate in preventive health screening and patient education.
