Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Residency in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Board certification preferred (ABIM Internal Medicine or ABFP Family Medicine).
• Ability to perform under supervision if PRP pathway applies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the Primary Care department.
• Offer clinical guidance to physician assistants and staff as requested.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care quality.
• Engage in quality improvement and committee activities as assigned.
• Coordinate with other services within Manchester VA and CBOCs.
