Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a primary care physician.

Responsibilities

Respond to patients’ medical problems by reviewing history, performing examinations, diagnosing, treating, counseling and referring as needed.
Order lab tests and interpret results.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
Collect, record and maintain sensitive patient information like exams and reports.
Explain procedures or treatments to patients and answer questions.
Coordinate with community physicians and hospitals as required.
Promote patient education in collaboration with health professionals.
Discuss and evaluate new medicines with pharmaceutical reps.
Stay updated on medical developments, treatments and medications.
Teach at hospitals or medical schools and mentor trainees.
