Job summary

The physician will also engage in after-hours coverage and collaborate with the practice to meet accreditation and care standards while supporting community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required.
• Residency completed; board certified or board eligible; medical staff privileges.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
• Strong mathematical skills and specialty-specific capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, prevent, or treat diseases and recommend treatments.
• Provide medical care per professional standards without bias.
• Complete accurate medical records using standard coding (CPT/ICD).
• Provide after-hours call coverage with the practice as needed.
• Comply with standards of care, payors, and accreditation bodies.
• Pursue continuing medical education to maintain licensure.
• Participate in mission-driven activities and committee work as required.
• Assist in proposals for managed care contracts and quality initiatives.
