Job summary

One Medical is seeking a clinician to join our Houston-based network of primary care providers. The role involves managing a patient panel across acute, chronic, and well visits, with in-office, testing center, and tele-health responsibilities.

Requirements include an Internal/Family Medicine residency, Board Certification with plans to certify within a year, and a Texas license. Collaboration with diverse teams and potential for multi-state credentialing are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or completed, an Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of start date.
• State licensed in Texas, obtained before start date.
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in outpatient primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office or in testing centers; conduct tele-health visits.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams.
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
• Pursue additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states.

What You'll Be Working On

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in Texas, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Houston, TX supporting our Upper Kirby and BLVD Place clinics.

The base salary range for this role is $$213,200.00 to $254,925.00 per year. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
