Position Summary

As part of the continued expansion of the Jackson Health System, the Jackson Medical Group, a growing multi-specialty physician network of over 40 physicians who practice throughout Miami-Dade County at over 7 different specialty care centers, seeks to hire a primary care physician to join our highly regarded multi-specialty practice in North Miami, Florida. We provide care and support to patients and families at every step of the journey, from routine care to the most complex medical needs. • The Primary Care Physician / JMG Associate Medical Director is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management and evaluation of medical/services at the clinic/center of responsibility.
• Provides and maintains JHS Standards towards continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and health care services to JHS outpatients.
• Primary Care with average daily patient volume of 20-22.

Education

Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.

Experience

Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.

License/Certification

• Valid Florida Medical License.
• DEA and board certification or eligible in Family Medicine are required. Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
