Zusammenfassung

Tennessee Department of Health is seeking a physician to provide accessible primary care and women's health services, especially for uninsured populations who rely on local health departments for care. Job Overview

This physician role is essential to providing accessible primary care and women's health services, particularly for uninsured populations who rely on local health departments as their primary source of care. By delivering direct patient services, offering clinical oversight for advanced practice nurses, and supporting county and regional operations, this position directly advances TDHs strategic priorities of Access, Prevention, Equity, and Workforce Excellence.

  • Precepts and collaborates with mid-level clinical providers
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion to enhance patient compliance with care plan
  • Remains updated with best practices in medicine and provides patient-centered care
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Valid and unrestricted Tennessee medical license
  • Valid DEA license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty such as Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
