Joseph Michaels International is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician in Pittsburgh, PA to deliver comprehensive outpatient care in a community health setting. Compensation ranges from $200K to $220K plus a comprehensive benefits package, with relocation assistance provided.

The role involves typical Monday–Friday hours (8:00 am–4:30 pm) with one evening shift, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and emphasis on patient-centered care across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in a community health or outpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform physical exams and preventative care services.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a community health center setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-effective medical services across the lifespan while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform complete physical exams and preventative care services
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging (including X-rays, CTs, MRIs as appropriate)
• Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed
• Perform in-office procedures within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
• Provide follow-up care and patient education to individuals and families
• Collaborate with behavioral health and other clinical teams to support integrated care
• Supervise and coordinate activities of clinical support staff as needed
• Participate in community health education initiatives
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the clinical setting

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in a community health or outpatient setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations
• Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
• Proficiency in bilingual Spanish and English is required
