Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician for locum tenens support at a Veteran Affairs Clinic to help meet an ongoing patient care need.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; patient load about 12 per day; scope: 100% adult Veterans.

Credentials: unrestricted state license; ACLS and BLS required; board certification or board-eligible; credentialing around 60 days. AMN arranges malpractice insurance and travel, lodging, and transportation.

Qualifications

• Active ACLS certification and BLS required.
• Unrestricted state medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility required.
• Credentialing typically completed within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to adult veterans in a VA clinic.
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
• Maintain an approximate patient load of 12 per day.
• Coordinate care and maintain thorough documentation.
