Central Maine Medical Center in Topsham, Maine, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join an established outpatient practice. This outpatient-only role offers a supportive, community-focused environment within Central Maine Healthcare.

You will provide comprehensive care to adults and families, collaborating with specialists across the CMH network, with a flexible schedule and access to modern EMR and nursing support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for Maine medical licensure.
• DEA certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic primary care.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
• Conduct routine physical exams and wellness visits.
• Coordinate care with specialists and hospital services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $278,000 to $335,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
