Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Louisiana seeks a physician to deliver outpatient medicine, focus on continuity of care, and disease prevention. You will maintain medical records, refer to specialists, and contribute to department strategy while working onsite at the clinic.

The Physician serves as a health-care clinician and can handle a variety of health-related problems. The Physician work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keep a medical history and medical records. Refer the patient to specialists. Begin to influence department's strategy. Decide moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and perform work without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of technical experience
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
• You will consider patients and participates in Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will screen yourself for TB.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
• Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone
• You will report to the Associate Medical Director
• You will work onsite at the Clinic location

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
