Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Primary Care Physician at Medical Arts Associates in Bellevue, WA. The Physician will be responsible for delivering primary care services, urgent care, family medicine, and general medicine to patients on a day-to-day basis. Primary Care Physicians are expected to treat a wide range of conditions, develop long term, professional relationships with their patients, produced individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data and offer continuous support and health management advise. Candidate should be proactive in building relationships and recommend external specialists when patient require treatment outside of your medical purview.

Qualifications

• Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Family Medicine skills
• Experience in delivering comprehensive care to patients
• Knowledge of general medicine practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare setting
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active medical license in the state of Washington

Primary Care Physician Responsibilities:

• Develop personal relationships with patients.
• create patient-specific health programs that make use of historical data.
• Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time.
• Schedule and administer follow-up examination.
• Make use of patient medical health data in medical exams.
• Conduct routine physical exams and wellness visits.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations.
• Screen for chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cancer).
• Counsel on healthy lifestyle choices (e.g., diet, exercise, smoking cessation).
• Evaluate and diagnose acute illnesses (e.g., infections, injuries).
• Manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes).
• Prescribe medications and treatments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage hospital follow-up care and transitions of care.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis clearly.
• Educate patients about their health conditions and management.
• Promote shared decision-making and informed consent.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
• Document patient encounters, treatments, and progress.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans for long-term health issues.
• Perform regular follow-ups and health maintenance.
• Screen for depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
• Provide initial treatment or referral to behavioral health services.
• Offer timely appointments and urgent care access.
• Provide after-hours care or ensure coverage.
