Job Overview

Fairview is seeking a Pediatrician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Burnsville, located 15 minutes south of the Twin Cities. Join our multi-specialty practice that has a thriving outpatient practice with a diverse patient mix in terms of age, socioeconomic status, and culture. This well-established practice is located next to the award-winning Fairview Ridges Hospital.

Practice Details:

• 6-provider pediatric practice with robust onsite support and access to many specialists.
• Outpatient practice with newborn rounding only at Fairview Ridges Hospital.
• Patient encounters average 18-20 patients per day.
• Openings: 1.0 FTE (34 patient contact hours) with a flexible schedule.
• Call Frequency: Shared call with 9 pediatricians. Phone consultation only, with first-tier nurse triage, and weekend on-call newborn rounding.
• No C-section assist or delivery attendance required.
• Circumcisions are preferred but not required.
• As part of a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pediatrics residency training program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or able to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges, if applicable.

Compensation

The offered salary range is $245,862 to $273,180 annually, based on full-time employment (1.0 FTE). Actual pay may vary depending on factors such as skills, education, experience, and market conditions. Our organization values pay equity and considers internal equity when making offers. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production may allow for higher pay than the range posted.
