Akron Children's Pediatrics (ACP) provides pediatric primary care for babies, children, and teens across northeast Ohio through over 40 pediatric offices. Join our established practice in Akron as it continues to grow. The Fairlawn office has 10 experienced pediatricians and 2 nurse practitioners. This is a busy practice, welcoming both new graduates and experienced providers to develop and expand their careers.
This is an outpatient position with shared after-hours call and Saturday hours among surrounding offices. Calls are screened by our excellent after-hours nurse triage line, which handles over 90% of calls. Physicians also cover the well newborn nursery at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and rotate weekly approximately every 10-12 weeks.
This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as it is a 501(c)(3) site.
Our offices follow hospital-based policies while maintaining each practice’s local culture. Physicians use EPIC, a system-wide electronic health record. All primary care offices are PCMH certified, emphasizing a patient-centered approach that fosters better relationships, improves quality and patient experience, staff satisfaction, and reduces healthcare costs.
