Job summary

CareOregon is seeking a Physician Assistant for primary care in Salem, OR. The role focuses on chronic disease management and palliative care, delivering care in residences and via audio/video sessions.

Schedule: two weekdays, 8-hour shifts, no nights, weekends, or on-call. Requires PA master’s, Oregon license, and NCCPA/DEA credentials; CPR at hire or soon after. Includes a strong total rewards program.

Qualifications

• Master’s level education with major course work in primary care for physician assistants or related field.
• Licensed physician assistant in the State of Oregon.
• DEA license and NCCPA certification required.
• CPR certification at hire or within 6 months in position.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care under physician collaboration.
• Perform comprehensive health assessments including physical and psychosocial history.
• Develop and implement proactive patient-centered care plans with the care team.
• Order testing and medications with follow-up; perform procedures as appropriate.
