Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a full-time APRN for outpatient primary care opportunities across the greater Columbus area. APRN experience in outpatient settings is highly preferred, with excellent compensation and benefits, including a CME stipend.

Mount Carmel is a large healthcare system serving central Ohio with state-of-the-art facilities and a focus on clinical excellence to deliver optimal patient experiences. There are multiple openings in the Columbus region.

Qualifications

• Masters required in Science, Nursing or specialty field.
• Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program.
• Current RN license and Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio.
• DEA license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages the care and treatment of patients per scope of practice and guidelines.
• Develops a comprehensive care plan with patient/family.
• Work within a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician.
• Initiates and leads performance improvement to achieve top clinical indicators.

Job description

Position Purpose:

This primary care opportunity is full-time. APRNexperience in the outpatient setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the care and treatment of patients as indicated in the professional scope of practice and within current standards and protocols.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with the patient/family consistent with established guidelines
• Practices within the guidelines of a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician.
• Initiates and leads performance improvement activities with a focus on achieving top quartile on clinical indicators.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or specialty field. Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program.
• Current License as RN and Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. Certified as Advance Practice Nurse in Family Medicine.
• BLS provider certification
• DEA license
• Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills
• Self-directed professional with strong organizational skills
