UNC Health Caldwell in Granite Falls, NC is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join a traditional outpatient team at RiverCrest Medical Park. The role focuses on well visits, sick visits, and comprehensive primary care for patients from children to adults in a collaborative, busy practice.

Applicants must hold NC licensure as an APRN or PA, with board certification where applicable. Completion of an accredited APRN/PA program and DEA registration are required.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) opportunity at RiverCrest Medical Park in beautiful western, NC!

UNC Health Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. Caldwell Physicians and UNC Health Medical Group provide the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations and 137 bed hospital. Caldwell is seeking a Primary Care NP for a position in a traditional outpatient model with a team of experienced partners.

• Location in the Blue Ridge Mountains - the heart of Northwestern North Carolina with a temperate 4 climate seasons
• Location- UNC Caldwell, Granite Falls, North Carolina 28630
• A variety of things to do: outdoor recreation, art, music, cycling, water sports, hiking and more

Practice Highlights

• Collaborative team of providers in a busy/mature practice!
• Patient Contact hours: 36 hours weekly / 32 hours of patient care and 4 hours of Administration - Primary Care Practice (children to adults). Well visits, Sick visits and all things primary care.

Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
