The role is on-site with a schedule of approximately 2–3 days per week, providing comprehensive primary care across the lifespan and focusing on prevention and chronic disease management.

The ideal candidate holds MSN or DNP, Kentucky APRN/NP license, and NP-board certification (FNP or AGPCNP), with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic primary care conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care and treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing pharmacologic therapy.
• Provide chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and COPD.
• Deliver preventive care, health screenings, and patient education and counseling.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Refer patients to specialists as clinically indicated.

Description

We are seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Whitesburg, KY. This part-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality primary care to patients within a supportive healthcare environment, with a schedule of approximately 2-3 days per week.

As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan, focusing on preventive care and the ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care that improves health outcomes in the community.

This role is ideal for a licensed, board-certified advanced practice provider seeking a meaningful part-time clinical position within the Hospital/Health Care industry. Compensation is offered on a yearly basis in USD, with the salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements
