Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care in an outpatient Canton/Potsdam practice, delivering patient-centered care in a diverse community. You will collaborate with PCPs, APPs and staff, using Epic EMR to manage patient care and documentation.

The role emphasizes clinical autonomy within an integrated health system, with a typical 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for mentorship and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have MS in Nursing
• Nurse Practitioner certification required by NY state
• RN license in NY state preferred or required as applicable

Requirements

• MS: Nursing (Required)


• Nurse Practitioner Certification from the New York State Office of Professions/New York State Education Department


• Registered Nurse license from the New York State Office of Professions/New York State Education Department


• Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant qualification


• Open to experienced providers and new graduates


• Ability to work a 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule


• Epic EMR experience or proficiency


• Ability to perform moderate clinical duties, including standing, walking, lifting 20–50 lbs., pushing and pulling medical equipment, and assisting with patient positioning


• Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and fine motor tasks


• High sensory acuity and ability to respond to alarms and safety concerns


• Ability to make decisions under pressure, respond to emergencies, and maintain sustained focus


• Ability to work around infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation


• TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical examination requirements
