North Bridgton Family Practice – Central Maine Healthcare in Bridgton, Maine is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient team full-time. You will provide comprehensive primary care, wellness visits, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine with no inpatient responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified as FNP, AGNP, or related specialty.
• Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure.
• DEA certification or eligibility.
• Prior primary care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services including wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive medicine.
• Diagnose and treat common medical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with Maine regulations.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
