Job Details: Our Pediatric Associates of Sidney, Ohio office is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to join a team of 2 physicians and 3 NPs. The practice is growing and supports a newborn nursery. The APP will practice to the full extent of licensure and education under the supervision of the division chief and in collaboration with the service line director. The pediatrician provides day-to-day clinical collaboration within the practice team.

The APP serves as a clinical provider using advanced education and clinical experience to promote high-quality care for patients and families with acute and chronic issues. The APP will build long-standing relationships with families to provide well care, developmental surveillance, vaccine counseling, mental health screenings, evaluations for acute illness, and management of chronic conditions. The APP cares for patients from birth to 21 years of age. The APP will work as part of the care team, including evening, weekend, and after-hours on-call responsibilities.

The APP activities include professional and staff development, quality improvement research, and primary care-based research initiatives. The APP advocates for the needs of patients and families within the health system.

Responsibilities
