Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a team-based primary care practice in McDonough, GA. You will provide care for pediatric and adult patients, perform health histories, and contribute to a coordinated care approach.

We value candidates with outpatient experience, an active state license (or eligibility), and DEA registration. BLS/ACLS and Athena EMR proficiency are desirable as part of a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Graduate and certified from an accredited advanced practice program.
• Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as an NP or PA preferred.
• Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients with comprehensive or episodic assessment.
• Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or eligibility for licensure.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to enroll.
• Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
• BLS or ACLS certification.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care to pediatric and adult patients in a team-based clinic.
• Conduct health histories and physical assessments for acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to drive value-based care initiatives.
• Engage in patient education, care coordination, and preventive services.
