Job summary

CloseKnit seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality primary care to adults in a structured clinic. You will perform exams, Pap smears, diagnose and treat common conditions, and counsel on wellness within a collaborative care team.

Requirements include an unrestricted Maryland MD license, board certification where applicable, and at least 1 year in primary care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Team-oriented approach with compassionate patient care.
• MD license in Maryland with unrestricted practice.
• Board certification where applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate primary care services to predominantly adult patients.
• Conduct routine exams and Pap smears with precision.
• Diagnose and treat common conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Counsel patients on wellness and preventive care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and review labs promptly.
• Complete charting in the electronic medical record accurately.
• Maintain professionalism in interactions with patients and staff.
