Job summary

MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role focuses on prevention, chronic disease management and health promotion for diverse patient populations. Active WA NP/PA license and DEA required; benefits include medical, dental, annual leave, CME, retirement and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State NP or PA license, DEA and prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive assessments and prescribes medications for patients across the lifespan.
• Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic diseases using evidence-based guidelines.
• Provides preventive care, health education and counseling.
• Documents encounters timely and accurately.
• Participates in coverage for clinic colleagues and after-hours call per guidance.
• Coordinates care with the care team and contributes to population-based care.
