Job summary

Mount Carmel, a Mount Carmel Health system in Ohio, seeks a full‑time Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care in Gahanna or New Albany. The APP will provide life‑span care with focus on prevention, health promotion, and access to care, supported by a collaborative physician relationship and strong care guidelines.

Outpatient experience is preferred, with competitive compensation and a robust benefit package including a CME stipend, day‑one coverage, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Science, Nursing or specialty field required.
• Current Ohio RN and NP license; certification as Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS provider certification.
• DEA license.
• Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills.
• Self-directed professional with strong organizational skills.
• Ideally 2+ years APP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the care and treatment of patients as indicated in the professional scope of practice and within current standards and protocols.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with the patient/family consistent with established guidelines.
• Practices within the guidelines of a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician.
• Initiates and leads performance improvement activities with a focus on achieving top quartile on clinical indicators.
