Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification is required.
• Strong computer and EMR skills; able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and documenting symptoms.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures; perform phlebotomy and EKGs as needed.
• Coordinate patient care including referrals, scheduling, and documenting test results.
