Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Burley, Idaho clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our primary care team. You will assist clinicians, gather patient information, and ensure effective communication with patients both in person and by phone.

Qualified applicants have completed a Medical Assistant program or have MA experience, or hold an RN/LPN license. BLS is required; strong teamwork and privacy protection are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Medical Assistant program or have 1+ year MA work experience or hold RN/LPN license to practice in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the clinician in gathering information relevant to the patient visit.
• Provide patient care under supervision to support the clinic team.
• Effectively communicate with patients via phone and in person; document care and observations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
