Ascension is hiring at Via Christi, Wichita for a full-time clinical support role in Primary Care. You will assist providers and registered nurses with treatments, measure vital signs, gather histories and prepare rooms for visits. You will document encounters, diagnoses, prescriptions and test orders to ensure continuous, accurate care.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant credential required prior to hire; state licensure where work is performed.
• Education or experience can be substituted for licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and RNs with clinical treatments to support patient recovery and comfort.
• Measure vital signs, collect health histories, and prepare exam rooms for visits.
• Document encounters, diagnoses, prescriptions and orders to ensure accurate care records.
• Manage clinic flow by handling phone calls, filing records and stocking supplies.
