Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services in Minnesota seeks LPNs, Medical Assistants, and EMTs to join our Primary Care team. You will provide patient care, assist with procedures, and support a high-quality care and patient experience across our clinics.

Requirements include BLS through AHA/Red Cross (online not accepted) and licensure for the applicable role (LPN, MA, or EMT Minnesota license). We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow in a nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required and online certification is not acceptable.
• LPN: graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing and must hold a current state license.
• MA: graduate from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Medical Assisting program.
• EMT: graduate from an accredited EMT program and hold a Minnesota EMT license.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document visit information and vitals (height, weight, blood pressure).
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by a clinician or standing orders.
• Perform procedures and treatments such as ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans as directed by the clinician.
• Ensure all components of the standard rooming process: medication reconciliation, pending refills, allergy review, immunization reconciliation, and form completion.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
