Job summary

Brightli is seeking a dedicated LPN or Medical Assistant to provide clinical support across primary care and behavioral health settings in Saint Louis, MO. The role includes nursing assessments, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, with telehealth components where applicable.

The position requires Missouri licensure (LPN or MA), willingness to deliver telehealth, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to provide telehealth services.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments, screenings, health histories, vital signs, and ongoing evaluations to support quality patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate services and develop individualized care and action plans.
• Educate clients, patients, families, and guardians regarding health conditions, medications, treatment plans, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Monitor patient health status, identify changes in condition, and coordinate appropriate interventions as needed.
• Administer and monitor medications according to organizational policies, physician orders, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, injections, laboratory collections, and specialized clinical procedures.
• Coordinate medical appointments, specialty services, and healthcare resources to support patient treatment needs.
• Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, laboratory results, and treatment modifications while communicating with providers and pharmacies.
• Support infectious disease control efforts, health monitoring, and client hygiene initiatives.
• Arrange and monitor dietary accommodations related to medical conditions when appropriate.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
