Job summary

Brown Health Medical Group in Rhode Island is recruiting board-certified or eligible Family Medicine physicians for primary care roles across its clinics. We offer a collaborative, team-based environment with an emphasis on high-quality patient care and work-life balance.

Expect very light call by phone, opportunities to develop specialty interests, and options for precepting with an academic appointment to Brown University.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to a diverse patient population in a team-based environment.
• Manage around 18-20 patients per day with a dedicated medical assistant per provider.
• Opportunities to develop specialty interests such as geriatrics, obesity medicine, LGBTQ care, and office-based procedures.

About the job:

• Very light call by phone – roughly 1:6/week
• Opportunity to develop specialty interests such as, geriatrics, obesity medicine, LGBTQ care, office-based procedures and more
• Precepting with an academic appointment to Brown University if desired
• EMR with a commitment to ongoing optimization
• 18-20 patients per day
• Diverse patient population (culturally and economically)

• Work in a team-oriented environment with RNs, Care Managers, Pharmacists and Advance Practice Providers
